Greenbrier Montessori School (GMS) is nestled in family-friendly neighborhood Greenbrier in Chesapeake, Virginia. We serve children ages 2 through 12 years old in our toddler, children’s house, and elementary programs.

The safe home-like atmosphere, boasts easy access from Interstate Highways and local roads alike. Here, Montessori methods are practiced within the tenets of its founder, Dr. Maria Montessori. Trained staff provide quality care and service to parents.

Established in 1999 by Nneka Okala, GMS prides itself on being small enough to know you, yet big enough to provide all that is necessary for optimum learning. As Directress, Mrs. Okala ensures that parental intent is matched with possible results, thereby involving the interested parent in every step of their child’s development.
